My stay at the Paramount Hotel was a mixed bag. On the positive side, the location near the Temple Bar area was fantastic, making it easy to explore Dublin's vibrant nightlife. The staff were friendly and helpful, adding a personal touch to my experience. However, I found the room to be uncomfortably hot, even with a fan borrowed from reception, which really detracted from my overall comfort.
Rooms
6.0
The room was clean but quite hot without air conditioning. I had to keep the window open, which didn't fully help with the heat.
Service
7.0
The staff were very friendly and responsive to issues, though they seemed to be dealing with ongoing problems such as broken TVs and room key failures.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location was excellent, right by the Temple Bar area, making it super convenient for dining and entertainment. It really felt safe walking around at night, too.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast options were decent, and I appreciated the coffee top-ups throughout my stay. However, I experienced an issue with a plate that arrived with a hair on it, which made me choose to eat elsewhere.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities seemed to need some refurbishment; the hotel had a bit of a dark and dingy feel to it, especially in the corridors.

I just spent three nights at the Paramount Hotel in early September, and while I appreciated the great location near Temple Bar and the cleanliness of my room, there were a few drawbacks. The room got pretty stuffy, and I had to get a fan to manage the heat. Additionally, the lack of outlets was frustrating, especially when trying to charge devices while using the fan. Overall, it's in a fantastic spot but comes with a couple of quirks that could use some attention.
Rooms

My room was clean and comfortable, although it showed some wear and tear. It was quite warm at times, which made it a bit uncomfortable. Also, I was limited to just two outlets in the room, which was inconvenient.
Service

The staff were super friendly and helpful, making my early check-in smooth and arranging a taxi for my early morning departure. I did have a hiccup when the taxi I requested wasn't booked, but they quickly sorted that out.
Location

The location is absolutely prime! It’s within walking distance to all major attractions and loads of restaurants and bars. I really loved being in the heart of Dublin's nightlife at Temple Bar.
Dining
7.0
I didn't eat in the hotel itself, but I found plenty of great places to grab meals nearby. The breakfast options seemed popular, although I opted for local spots instead.
Facilities
6.0
While the facilities are basic, they’re adequate for a short stay. There’s no room service, and I had to rely on local takeaways for food. The lack of a fridge was a bit of a letdown too.

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel, thanks to its excellent location and friendly staff. However, the noise from the nightclub nearby made it difficult to sleep at times, which was quite frustrating. Additionally, some aspects of the hotel felt like they needed a bit of a refresh, but overall, I felt it was a decent value for my money.
Rooms
6.0
My room was clean and exactly what I wanted, though it was quite cold when I first arrived, but the response from reception was prompt with a heater provided. However, the noise from the nightclub created challenges for sleep on one night.
Service

The hotel’s location was super close to everything - just a short walk to the vibrant Temple Bar area, allowing me to explore local pubs and eateries easily.

Breakfast was very enjoyable, with a good variety of options available. I appreciated the generous quality, especially since they provided a replacement when my initial meal wasn't warm enough.

While the facilities were adequate for my needs, the hotel could benefit from some renovations to enhance the overall experience.

I had a great weekend at the Paramount Hotel, enjoying the prime location in the Temple Bar area, which made exploring the city easy. The quick check-in process and accommodating staff were definite highlights. My room was spacious, though I did notice some street noise at night that disrupted my sleep a bit. Breakfast was fantastic, though the beds could have been a bit more comfortable.
Rooms

The room was larger than expected and clean, but the bed had a downward angle that affected my sleep.

My stay at the Paramount Hotel was a mixed bag. The central location made it super convenient to explore Dublin, and I liked how clean the rooms were. However, I had a frustrating experience with my room assignment; it wasn't what I expected, and it turned out to be pretty dark and noisy. Overall, while it has its charm, some aspects left much to be desired.
Rooms
6.0
I had a good-sized room, but it was eerily dark and noisy due to a fan nearby. When I requested a specific room, I didn’t get it, which was disappointing because I had enjoyed my stay in that room before.
Service

The staff was really friendly and helpful, which was a plus. However, I had to bring up my concerns about the room noise and lighting, and I was offered to speak to a manager the following day, which felt a bit late.
Location

The location is absolutely fantastic, right in the heart of the Temple Bar area, making it super easy to hit all the cool spots, dining, and nightlife. It was nice and central but also quiet enough for a good night’s sleep.
Dining

The breakfast options were decent but nothing stellar. I enjoyed the variety, but the quality of the food could have been better, as it just felt pretty average.
Facilities

The hotel had an older vibe but was definitely clean, though I could've used some updates in terms of ambiance and lighting in my room. Wi-Fi connectivity was good, which I appreciated.
